      Yes, you read that correctly.\nMost of what people consider \u201creal money\u201d is created by simple ledger entries \u2013 typed into banking systems.<\/span>
      There\u2019s no gold backing, no state collateral, and no pre-existing funds required.<\/span><\/p>\n

      This is called: money creation<\/strong>.<\/span>
      \u2013 and it\u2019s not only practiced by central banks, but by everyday commercial banks as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Two everyday examples:<\/span><\/h3>\n

      1. When you take out a personal loan<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      You walk into a bank and request a loan of 5 million USD<\/span>
      The bank does not give you its own money.<\/span>
      It simply types in \u201c5 million\u201d into your account balance.<\/strong><\/span>
      No one else\u2019s account was touched, no cash was transferred.<\/span>
      This is newly created money<\/strong> \u2013 digital, created just for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

      You then start spending it.<\/span>
      It becomes \u201creal\u201d as it circulates through the economy.<\/span>
      And of course you must pay it back \u2013 with interest \u2013 even though the principal was created out of nothing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      2. When the central bank prints<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      The FED may decide to print 10 billion USD.<\/span>
      That\u2019s physical money<\/strong>\u2013 banknotes you can hold<\/span>
      \u2013 but it was still created from nothing for state or institutional use. From nothing for state<\/strong> for the purposes of the state or the banking system.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Summary:<\/span><\/h3>\n

      The money isn\u2019t just what\u2019s in your wallet<\/strong>, and it wasn\u2019t always \u201creal.\u201d<\/span>
      Money creation isn\u2019t a conspiracy \u2013 it\u2019s the system.<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
